Bobcats #9 in Latest Rankings

Bobcats need victory over Mount View to crack Top 8.

The Summers County Bobcats (8-1) are No.9 in Class A this week and need a victory over Mount View (5-4) to not only stay in playoff race, but try to grab a home playoff game as well. Mount View is ranked No. 18 in Class A this week. The Golden Knights need to upset the Bobcats and get some help to get them in the dance.

The Bobcats played well versus Richwood and Pocahontas County the last two Friday’s and needs to carry it over to this Friday. This will be senior night for the Bobcats and should be a good crowd at Garten Stadium as well.

Mount View which has had a resurgence of it’s own in 2016 and is in the playoff mix for the first time in several years. Summers County is looking to make the playoffs once again, as they have become a playoff regular under head coach Nate Tanner , but are still looking for the big signature playoff win.
